Sure we'd rather be out there on the trails or quiet country roads riding, but when it comes to cleaning and maintaining our bikes we are perfectionists. There's nothing more annoying than gears clattering, poor shifting or noisy brakes because last week's mud and grime are clogging up your components.
When it comes to cleaning the freewheel, chain, derailleurs and more intricate components there's nothing currently available that quite hits the mark.
That's where the idea for "Bike Floss" was born.
We wanted something that would get right into the nooks of every component, leaving them clean and free of dirt. We figured as "flossing" is effective for teeth then surely the same principle could work for bikes.
Sometimes the simplest ideas are often the best, and when our prototypes were tested by commuters, racers and mechanics alike the verdict was unanimous - it works!!

We have been involved in all areas of cycling, from commuting to competition, road, tri and mountain - for far longer than we'd care to remember and have a true passion for the sport, spending most of our free time cycling in the Derbyshire Dales. Like our mascot, Harry the Hippo we also love riding fixed, the purest form of all - this is usually to the pub on a warm summer evening though! Our ideas and innovations continue to grow and we're developing a complete range of products, providing every cyclist with all they need to maintain their bike to perfection.

The Environment
Cycling is not only a great way to stay healthy but is also obviously a particularly 'green' mode of transport.. We encourage people to choose to take the bike over the car to help reduce carbon emissions, traffic congestion and noise pollution. Cyclists are usually the quickest commuters in an urban environment - so beat the traffic and reduce your carbon footprint!
We believe in minimal packaging and are committed to reducing waste wherever possible.
You will not see any of our cleaning products in aerosol form. This isn't just from an environmental perspective - most people don't realise that a 500ml can of aerosol only contains around 50-60% of product.... the rest is propellant!! Our products contain exactly what it says on the label, nothing more and certainly nothing less!
